Close relatives

Rays and skates are closely related, and similiar in shape. They both have
flat bodies and broad pectoral fins. The main difference between these two groups of fish is their proportions. Skates' discs (heads and body combined) are longer than they are wide, and rays' discs are wider than they are long. How do we know?

Scientists categorise rays into families based on certain characteristics.

These include the number of dorsal and tail fins they have, and the shape of their discs.

Sometimes scientists disagree on which families a ray should be placed in, or which charateristics should be used to categorise them.

RAY FACTS

Electric Rays can produce an electric charge up to 220 volts to stun or kill the prey, or to protect

from predators....

Baby stingrays...

After two to four months, the stingrays are born.

Up to nine young emerge through the mother's vent.

In some species the newborn rays are almost half adult size...

School reopen poem...

Monday school reopen and needs to study with heavy bags. look at teacher evil smile when giving out homework. go home banned from computer. parents nagging... then PSLE comes.... results come....260!
then we scream and cry and do this do that... hope all of us go to the school we want... ahahahaha...

Cruising..... 27 June 2010

Today is my last day where this boat will reach singapore at 12 noon....

we wake up hurriedly and went to eat our breakfast, then we went to the arcade to play ...
after playing, we went to the blue lagoon to eat...
after we eat finish,` we waited for the boat to reach singapore...
then we decided to go to our room to pack our belongings
after packing , we check out of the room and went aboard....
we carried alot of things back home during the stay there, it was fun as it was my second time at this boat....
then we took the train and went back home....
it was really tired and when i reach home , i fall asleep...
after waking up i took my dinner and quickly went to do my homework as the next day will be the start of the school...

bye...if i went to the cruise again i will defintely tell u....

Cruising.....(26 june)

I had kept my promise let me tell you my experience on 26june...

Come let me tell u...

This morning we went to walk around the shops in the boat then after , we went to eat western breakfast after eating, we went to our room after a while, when the boat reach KL, we went aboard then we shop around in the casco ....
we book a taxui to reach casco then shopping for almost 4-5 Hours...
we waited for our taxi to come we reach the pier at 4+ then we check in then after we check in, we went to our room and change into our swimming suits then we went to swim.....
after swimming for 1 hours , i got tired and decided to to bath and change into my clothes...
then we find a table near the swimming pool and waited for the chef to cook and the buffet was well cook and delicous...
after eating my father went to the casino. then my mother together with my sibling and i went to the arcade when we reach the arcade, we went in and find the coins for playing.
after playing till 11+, we went back to our rooms then my mother went to bath after bathing, we decided to go for supper, then for a while i fall asleep ... then of course my mother with my siblings went to eat supper without me......
i had missed the crab that was served in the restruant....

Cruising.....

On 25 June i went to cruise at kl...
when i reach there the boat was large....
we reach there at about 5+...
first we when to eat after that we went to watch a magic show..
after watching we went back to our rooms.....
then during night after we had eaten, my parents went to the casino then my siblings and i went to the arcade to play..... then around 12+ we went to eat supper.....
then after eating, we decided to go to the arcade and play but it turns out to be that the arcade had close... then we went back to our rooms .
we slept at around 1+.....
Bye ..... I will talk on the next day(26 June)
